Todd Solondz's controversial pitch-black satire is divided into two different stories. In "Fiction," college creative writing student Selma Blair, who is dating a fellow student with cerebral palsy, has a torrid romantic interlude with Robert Wisdom, her black, Pulitzer Prize-winning teacher. Next, "Non-Fiction" finds nerdy, struggling actor Paul Giamatti deciding to make a documentary about a neurotic high school senior and his nouveau riche Jewish family. Leo Fitzpatrick, John Goodman, Julie Hagerty and Michael Schank also star. Included on this DVD are both the theatrical R-rated and unrated versions of the film. 87 min.
