Interesting work of the script writer combining the cheerful and the sad in the movie won the award in Cannes. A movie about a crazy man who probably knew nothing about the notorious instinct of self-preservation that keeps sensible people from big follies. The guy's life gets damned and destroyed with the velocity of light. Strange though it may seem, but there's also a place for humour in this context, which made the movie deep and expressive.
