Two guys and their girlfriends go to have fun on the beach after their last day at school. On the way back, they run over a man and throw his body into the water to avoid a police interrogation. A year later, one of the girls receives a note, which says: "I know what you did last summer". All the leads are brilliantly performed by young actors. The film features stunning camerawork (night scenes are especially good). It's fun to see both on the video and on the big screen.101 min.

Julie James is still suffering from the nightmares connected with the person, who knows what they did last summer. The nightmares interfere with her life and studies. Julie's Afro American friend Carla, who takes part in a radio contest, wins a trip to a paradise island despite giving a wrong answer: Carla claimed that Rio is the capital of Brasil, while the correct answer was Brasilia. Starting from this moment, anyone who knows geography may guess that the whole thing looks a bit fishy. Meanwhile a new character – a sinister cape-clad figure with a horrible hook sets off on a terrible hunt. Ray Bronson, Julie's fiancé, has a miraculous escape. He can't go to the Bahamas together with Julie and Carla as he has to stay in Portland. The two girls go on the trip with Carla's boyfriend and another guy from college, who seems to be head over ears in love with Julie. Nevertheless, Ray breaks out of hospital and goes to join his fiancée. But before he arrives, a series of cruel murders shocks the inhabitants of the paradise island... 100 min.
