Chaplin was brilliantly performed by Robert Downey Jr. The other actors engaged in the film also played exceptionally well. Dan Aykroyd, who played Mack Sennett, the Keystone Kops Company tycoon, deserves a special mention. Kevin Kline played the silent movies legend Douglas Fairbanks and Geraldine Chaplin, Chaplin's daughter, played his mother. 135 min.
