Partly based on the true murder of Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn, director co-script writer Theo van Gogh (murdered by a religious fanatic in 2004 while constructing the film) steers this strained thriller according to the story of Tomas Ross. A resentful political journalist (Steve Buscemi) gets an order for the interview with a blonde TV starlet (Sienna Miller). The conversation soon gets boring when it gets obvious the interlocutors disrespect each other, but a prophetic occurrence makes them meet again for a night-long verbal tournament that turns out to be excited and unmasking for them both. Co-writer Buscemi also directs this intimate remake of Theo van Gogh's 2003 film. 84 min.
